How to Care for and Condition Ranunculus Flowers

To keep your wholesale ranunculus looking fresh and beautiful, a little care goes a long way. Here are some care tips to get the most out of your ranunculus flowers:

Step 1 – Hydration

Start by hydrating your ranunculus as soon as they arrive. Place them in cool water while they are still wrapped. This gives them time to adjust and soak up water while still having that support from the wrapping. After about an hour, unpack your ranunculus carefully and transfer them to a clean vase filled with fresh, cold water.

Step 2 – Cut the Stems

Next, cut the stems at a sharp 45-degree angle to help your ranunculus absorb water more effectively. Be sure to use clean tools to avoid bacteria, which can shorten their vase life.
